Spirit of the Voice: Connecting with the Muse
TIME/DATE
July 29th, Sat • 11:30a-1p
DESCRIPTION
The voice is the only instrument that is always present; and what I have come to discover for myself, is that it’s always singing a song..even if it doesn’t sound or feel like one. In our time together, we will explore the voice, through story sharing, improvisation & play, and music. Our aim is not to become “the bestest singers ever”...instead, to nourish our voice & cultivate a richer, deeper relationship with it.
There will be handpan & frame drums available to play.
Please bring an instrument (handpan, tank drum, tongue drum, frame drum, etc) if you have one and want to vocalize with it!
BYO journal, snacks & water to self sustain!!
$25 suggested donation, as you can. 20 spots available. Reserve your space with an Eventbrite ticket! And, as always, there will be some pay-what-you-can spots at the door!
Donations support the teacher and ongoing LWCC community programs. All are welcome! See you soon!
